Dewine: Don't Release Noe

Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine is urging the state to not release Tom Noe, the former rare coin dealer and GOP fundraiser serving 18 years in prison for his central role in a state investment scandal. The recommendation by attorney general Mike Dewine comes in response to Tom Noe's petition for his freedom, filed in June with the U.S. District Court in Toledo. The one-time Toledo area coin dealer claims the trial judge made several errors, including not moving the case, which led to what his attorneys called an "unrelenting barrage" of local media coverage in Toledo.
