Those in favor of passenger rail and those opposed are gearing up for a vote Monday by the state Controlling Board.
Ohio Governor Ted Strickland and other backers of passenger rail to link Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati say it's time to start spending some of the 400 million dollars the federal government offered Ohio for the project.
But skeptical Republicans in the legislature say they will likely side-track the project if backers try to put it on the fast track. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports .
