Strickland Approves Budget After Dozens Of Line Item Vetoes

The state is starting its first week operating under a new two-year budget, which features slots at racetracks, a school funding reform plan and big cuts for libraries, mental health and addiction services and safety net programs. The governor signed it on Friday after deleting more than five dozen items. Statehouse correspondent Karen Kasler reports.
