Ohio House Democrats have filed articles of impeachment against embattled Attorney General Marc Dann.
The resolution outlines nine counts of why the fellow Democrat should be impeached, including gross neglect of duties and making misleading statements under oath.
The impeachment articles must get Republican support in order to send the charges to the Senate for a trial.
The move comes two weeks after an investigation determined that a top aide in Dann's office sexually harassed an employee. Dann also admitted to having an extramarital affair with a subordinate.
Both parties have asked Dann to resign, something he says he won't do.
A spokesman for Dann says the attorney general doesn't believe there are grounds for impeachment.
Ohio hasn't used the impeachment process since 1820, and the last time someone was impeached and convicted in Ohio was 1808.
