A group trying to overturn statewide restrictions on strip clubs says it won't change its name despite legal threats by a conservative Christian organization.
Citizens for Community Values is the Cincinnati-based religious group that pushed for the law that prohibits patrons from touching strippers and halts nude dancing after midnight.
The Christian group accuses Citizens for Community Standards of trademark infringement.
Sandy Theis of Citizens for Community Standards says the religious group doesn't have a monopoly on words like "citizens" or "community," and that others with similar names haven't been threatened.
The law takes effect in September, and strip club owners have collected about 100-thousand of the 240-thousand signatures they need to put an issue on the ballot in November to overturn the law.
