Stripper regulations bill loses momentum

For months, it's appeared likely that Ohio legislators would pass a new law slapping statewide limits on x-rated video stores and topless bars.

After all, state representatives had passed a similar proposal overwhelmingly the past 2 sessions.....and a citizens group was adding even more pressure with a petition drive.

Now, though, the momentum has shifted. Critics of the measure have garnered a lot of recent publicity by having dancers protest the bill and Wednesday, they put backers of the measure on the defensive in a legislative committee hearing.
