OSU bug research helps humans - Part 1: Comparing moth and human brains

Scientists are looking at the neural patterns of insect brains in hopes of understanding how the human brain works.

One researcher at Ohio State University has hit upon a unique way to document and interpret neural patterns in a moth's brain by mapping neural activity with notes on a musical scale.

In part 1 of her special series, WOSU science reporter Sarah Harris looks at the music of moths.
