Fighting cancer, one pie at a time

Millions of Americans and their families deal with the effects of cancer each day.  Chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, it's a long list of treatment protocols patients and families must sort through.

What if I told you that one treatment in the search for a cancer cure was pie?

It's true!  With the simple act of throwing a pie, you can help support those dealing with cancer. Over the last 25 years, American Pie Party founder Tony Sobony has personally taken over 60,000 pies in the face to help in the search for a cure.  This afternoon, you can help by coming and putting a pie in my face at the Funny Bone Comedy Club at Easton Town Center at 4:30 pm.  I will be there, along with others local celebrities to take a pie for the cause. The American Pie Party raises philanthropic support for cancer agencies by orchestrating an “environment of healingâ€? through quintessential humor and the actual physical act of throwing a pie in the face of a willing participant. Anyone, anytime, anywhere can host their own Pie Party with 100 percent of the funds collected benefiting their chosen anti-cancer charity. You don't have to be rich, famous, or have a particularly good arm to do your part.  Just come on down to The Funny Bone Comedy Club at Easton Town Center at 4:30 pm.  I hope I'll see you there! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsuzT-MH-1Q
