What Are You Listening To?

I know you listen primarily to Classical 101 wherever you my be. We give you all the variety you should need, if I do say so myself. But many among us have bedside tables for books and stacks of CDs we are enjoying. Stacks change. They come from libraries, the internet, and online stores. So what are you listening to? What are you hearing you hadn't heard before? Tell! My current CD stash features: Debussy Pelleas et Melisande conducted by Ernest Ansermet Bach Well Tempered Clavier, part 1 played by Andrew Rangell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIjuKGapo8I Haydn, "London" Symphonies, New York Philharmonic with Leonard Bernstein Verdi Nabucco with Renato Bruson and Jane Eaglen.  Riccardo Muti conducts and Threshold of Night choral music by Tarik O'Regan, a young Brit composer attracting a lot of attention. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBRI8ovsfI4 And, for the unexpected, I fell in love all over again the String Quartet No.1 "In My Life" by Smetana, featured last Friday on Classical 101: By Request. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_Ufp8gKhyQ I've shown you mine. What are YOU listening to? What surprises you?
