Slow Money Sustainability

11:00

The Slow Money movement advocates for sustainable financial investments that support local, community-based food and farm businesses. "The grassroots movement is growing everyday, with goals "to enhance food security, food safety and food access; improve nutrition and health; promote cultural, ecological and economic diversity; and accelerate the transition from an economy based on extraction and consumption to an economy based on preservation and restoration." But what are the principles of the movement and how are they upheld? On this hour of "All Sides," we're talking about that and more.

Guests

  • Woody Tasch (author and chairman, Slow Money Alliance)
  • Dave Filipi (curator, film/video, Wexner Center for the Arts)
