It's only a few days until nearly 5,000 riders hit the road for a single cause. Pelotonia pedals off on Friday, marking it's third year of serving as a fundraiser for cancer research. Right now, we'll talk about what things are different this year, and how Pelotonia has changed and progressed since its inception in 2009.

Taxes in Wartime.The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have added more than $1 trillion to the budget deficit, but taxes have not increased since the wars began...in fact, the Bush tax cuts enacted in 2001 and 2003 lowered the tax rates for nearly all U.S. taxpayers. Now with a deficit reduction “supercommitteeâ€? beginning its work, some believe the commission should consider a special war tax as both a moral and fiscal responsibility.
