ProMusica Chamber Orchestra ProMusica Chamber Orchestra begins its twenty-eighth season on October 15th at Columbus's Southern Theater. Performances continue through May both at the Southern and the Pontifical College Josephinum. True to its mission to encourage new music, the coming season includes world premieres of Christopher Theofanidis's Concerto for Piano and Small Orchestra (October 15), Richard Cioffari's Odyssey for Flute, Harp and Strings (February 11, 2007) and Compadrazgo for Piano, Cello and Chamber Orchestra by Gabriela Frank (March 21 and April 1, 2007). There'll also be music by Haydn, Elgar, Telemann, Stravinsky, Berlioz and Debussy....plus a special ProMusica Goes to the Movies program at the Southern, November 11th and 12th.
