Special Gifts & Go Digital Campaign - Individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations play an important role in supporting the mission of The WOSU Stations. In addition to annual gifts, some demonstrate their commitment to public broadcasting by establishing permanent funds for programming, technology, education and outreach, and student internships, purchasing equipment, and sponsoring special events.
Special Gifts may be made outright, or in memory or honor of others. Contributors at this level are recognized through commemorative naming opportunities such as areas within the broadcast center, in AirFare Magazine and other publications, and by invitations to special events. If you would like to make a special gift, please e-mail us at plannedgifts@wosu.org
The three-year Go Digital Campaign begins July 1, 2003, and marks a special effort by The WOSU Stations to raise $7 million of the $11.4 million required to support the conversion to digital broadcasting as required by the Federal Communications Commission. Digital broadcasting will enhance WOSU's ability to serve its audiences. Higher resolution video and audio are only part of the picture of the future of public broadcasting. Go Digital and learn what we can do! If you would like to make a contribution to the Go Digital Campaign, please e-mail us at godigitalcampaign@wosu.org.
