WOSU 89.7 FM Classically Columbus
Saturdays at 1pm

Serenata, also known as “Adventures with the Art Song,” is a half-hour program hosted by WOSU’s Christopher Purdy. If you despair of choosing among the 500-plus recordings of Schubert lieder, or you want to hear Renee Fleming’s new jazz/classical album, this is the program for you.

Christopher Purdy begins a new season with a performance of Robert Schumann by Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, accompanied by Julius Drake. Recorded in concert at London’s Wigmore Hall in October 1999.
