iMix

WOSU produced iMix for Ohio State to air on the Big Ten Network and to air on WOSU TV. iMix (Interactive Mixed Media) featured a fast-paced television magazine format. The show was produced by WOSU Public Media, and licensed by The Ohio State University.

Virtual Surgery

At Ohio State, medical professors are creating training tools for the Nintendo generation of surgeons. Dr. Gregory Wiet and the Ohio Supercomputer Center have been working on a project known as the Validation Dissemination of Temporal Bone Dissection that simulates surgery through computer visualization, applied force, and even changes in sound. This technology allows for direct consequences to action and gives students opportunities to experience real world problems.
