Kilroy was Here!: The 1940s Revisted
The 1940s remain one of the most pivotal decades of the 20th century. The Ohio Historical Society brings that era to life in Kilroy Was Here!: The 1940s Revisited.

The Columbus Dispatch's electronic edition of D-Day
The Columbus Dispatch has made available a special electronic version of their June 6, 1944 newspaper, which describes D-Day from afar. This paper also provides a superb look at Columbus during this turbulent time; every article and advertisement is "clickable," which means that users can read every word!

The WWII Photography of Rodger Hamilton
A web exclusive component of ohiowarstories, this site features the stunning black and white photographs of Columbus, OH native Rodger Hamilton, who photographed the war for the Army Signal Corps (later the US Army Photographic Services).

Motts Military Museum
Founded in 1987 by Warren E. Motts of Groveport, Ohio, the museum is a 501 (C) 3 not for profit tax exempt educational organization. The mission of Motts Military Museum is to: “To educate the public on the importance of America’s military past through the documentation, collection, interpretation, and preservation of tangible artifacts and personal stories of the men and women who served and are serving in the United States Armed Forces.”
