April - May 2012

Chefs in the City

WOSU TV announces Chefs in the City Auction 2012, a culinary-themed fundraiser for children's educational programming.

Please consider making an in-kind donation to WOSU. We will be highlighting many of our donors and their auction items during a unique TV program that will feature cooking demonstrations from fabulous chefs of central Ohio, as well as exclusive segments by Chef Hubert Keller, host of the PBS series, Secrets of a Chef.

There are a limited number of spots available for the show, so please contact us immediately to accept our offer to be included. The levels of participation for this unique program are listed below.


If you or your business would like to donate to our auction, it’s as simple as filling out the donor form and getting the items to us. Remember, the value of your donation ($75 minimum value per item, please) is fully tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Your restaurant or business will be showcased alongside other culinary greats from in and around central Ohio during our Chefs in the City Silent Auction. Additionally, your logo will be spotlighted at our gourmet culinary event as well as during the television broadcast as a WOSU and Chefs in the City supporter. Chefs in the City is a perfect venue to reach an audience particularly interested in local foods, community support, and a great dining experience!

There are many benefits your restaurant or business will receive by particpating in our Chefs in the City Auction 2012.

DONATE ITEMS FOR USE IN OUR AUCTIONS

We are procuring items for our Silent Auction which runs April 10 - May 3, 2012. Additionally, some items may be used in our Spring Online Auction beginning in May.

Auction Items Ideas
Be creative, provide special items that showcase your restaurant or business in unique ways. Items like a catered dinner, a special wine-pairing menu, a private party, an in-home chef experience, room reservations, or gift certificates. Please submit items of $75 or above. Items may be bundled to reach the minimum.
